The Adentan Municipal Assembly (AdMA) on Tuesday, March 23, 2021, donated 1170 school uniforms to deprived students in the municipality.
Presenting the school uniforms to the Municipal Education Directorate, the Municipal Chief Executive, Mr Alexander Nii Noi Adumuah, noted that the donation was to ensure that the needy students in the municipality got decent at to go to school.
Mr Adumuah announced that the municipal assembly had built institutional toilets for some schools in the municipality under the GAMA Project over the last 4 years, adding that the toilets have been equipped with tools to be used for cleaning and maintenance.
To ensure that every electoral area got a school, he said the assembly had used its Internally Generated Funds to put up a school for the New Lagon electoral area.
Mr Adumuah said the assembly was also making effort to get an ICT centre which would double as a library for school children within the municipality.
