The Greater Accra Regional Minister, Mr Henry Quartey, has called on all Ga States to unite to ensure the continuous development of the region.
He made the call when he led a delegation of Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) to celebrate the Homowo festival with the Chiefs and people of La in Accra.
Mr Quartey noted disunity and disturbances tend to affect the development of the region, hence, he called for peaceful coexistence.
He stated that for the first time in over 10 years, the people of Ga-Adangbe were celebrating Howomo under no restrictions and protection from the police and urged them to ensure it is sustained.
“Sustain the peace and unity being enjoyed among yourselves and not allow any individual or political interest to divide you,” he emphasised.
