The recently nominated Krachi East Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Mr Bernard Mensah Aboakugya, was on Tuesday given a 100% endorsement by the Assembly Members in the municipality.
All the 29 Assembly Members voted to confirm him as the new MCE of the area following his nomination by President Akufo-Addo.
The Oti Regional Minister, Mr Joshua Gmayenaam Makubu, expressed gratitude to the Assembly Members for demonstrating patriotism.
He admonished Mr Aboakugya to be mindful that he was not appointed to serve his interest but that of the people.
He also urged him to work hard to complete the projects his late predecessor, Mr Francis Kofi Okesu, initiated.
