The Deputy Minister for Works and Housing, Abdulai Abanga, has implored private developers to explore opportunities created by the government to bridge the country’s housing deficit.

He made this call at a commissioning of a Social Housing Facility (Rehoboth’s Open House for Customers) at Ayi Mensah, Accra.

The Deputy Minister assured developers of the Ministry’s readiness to welcome initiatives from industry players to promote the growth and development of the housing industry.

Mr Abanga acknowledged the contribution of the construction industry to national socio-economic development.

“It is the policy of the government to adopt public-private collaborations as a means of leveraging private sector resources, experiences and expertise to achieve our desired objectives,” he stated.
