GSFP holds stakeholders’ consultation workshop with the World Bank

The Ghana School Feeding Programme (GSFP) has held a stakeholder consultation workshop with the World Bank on the implementation of the Ghana Productive Safety Net Project (GPSNP) 2.

The consultation workshop held on Tuesday in Accra, was to among other things, expand and enhance social safety nets that improve the incomes and productivity of the poor in Ghana.

The Bank’s existing programme with the Government of Ghana is being expanded to support the GSFP.

Management of the GSFP made a comprehensive presentation on the overview of the programme at a workshop to bring participants up to speed on the programme’s current status.

Participants at the workshop made varying recommendations and suggestions on various ways the Bank could support the GSFP to deliver on its mandate.

The workshop drew participants from various stakeholders of the GSFP across the country.
