Over Ninety-four per cent of households in Ghana has been enumerated in the 2021 Population and Housing Census.
However, only 75 per cent of households in the Greater Accra Region was enumerated.
The Government Statistician, Prof Samuel Kobina Annim, who has disclosed this, said it means apart from Greater Accra Region, over three-quarters of households in the country was covered in the first phase of the enumeration.
He said it was against this background that the deadline of the enumeration had been extended in some selected areas to capture all households in Ghana.
Prof. Annim, who was given an update of the census in Accra, said the Ghana Statistical Service (GSS) would work assiduously to ensure that the remaining six per cent was counted.
