President Akufo-Addo accepts Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs Minister’s Resignation

Ebenezer Kojo Kum

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has accepted the resignation from office Ebenezer Kojo Kum as Minister for Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs.

As contained in a press statement from the Office of the President’s Communications Directorate on Friday, the President’s acceptance of the Minister’s resignation was after he (Ebenezer Kojo Kum), submitted his letter of resignation on Friday, 3rd February 2023.

Ebenezer Kojo Kum is the Member of Parliament for Ahanta West.

According to the press statement, “President Akufo-Addo thanked him for his services to the Government and the country, and wished him well in his future endeavours.”

“The President has asked the Minister for Local Government, Decentralisation and Rural Development, Dan Botwe, MP, to act as caretaker Minister at the Ministry of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, until a substantive replacement is made,” the statement ended.
