Roads Minister inspects roads in Accra

The Minister for Roads and Highways, Kwasi Amoako-Attah, has inspected some roads in Accra which are under construction.

With a team of engineers, the Minister inspected the progress of work at the Ashale Botwe School Junction to the Tema Motorway road project.

The road, which is being constructed by Messrs Oswal Investment Ltd, is currently 43 per cent complete.

When completed, it will facilitate the mobility of goods and persons around Ashale Botwe School Junction, Nmai Dzorn, and Borteyman to the Motorway.

The Minister was optimistic that the road would be completed by July 2024.

Mr Amoako-Atta also inspected the progress of work on the Dome-Kitase road project.

Having expressed satisfaction with the progress of work, he declared, “2023 will be an action year for the road sector.”
