Togolese Bureau of Aviation Accident Investigation calls on AIB Ghana

The Ag Commissioner of Accident Investigation Bureau (AIB), Akwesi A. Prempeh has retreated the bureau’s commitment to building friendship with key stakeholders to offer technical assistance and capacity building in the aera of accident and incident investigation and prevention.

He made this statement when a three- member delegation from the Togolese Bureau of Aviation Accident investigation paid a working visit to AIB Ghana with the aim to understudy how they work.

The Ag. Commissioner said for the purposes of cooperation, the Bureau may enter into agreements with Regional and International bodies and contracting States for the purpose of investigating aircraft accidents and incidents.

The leader of the Togolese delegation, Colonel Bonfoh Bouraima said that since aviation was vast and dynamic there was the need for all to come together to share knowledge thus the main aim of their visit was to acquire knowledge on how AIB Ghana works.
