US Ambassador pays courtesy call on Greater Accra Regional Minister

The United States Ambassador to Ghana, Virginia Palmer, has paid a courtesy call on the Greater Accra Regional Minister, Mr Henry Quartey, in Accra to discuss issues of mutual benefit.

The visit, according to the US Ambassador, was to acquaint herself with the activities of the Regional Coordinating Council and deliberate possible areas of collaboration to help develop the region.

Madam Palmer expressed satisfaction with the activities of the RCC and commended the Greater Accra Regional Minister for his vision of making Accra clean and greener.

Mr Quartey said the RCC would always be available to assist the Embassy in whatever capacity through the Ministries of Local Government and Rural Development and the Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration when called upon.
