The 2020 flagbearer of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), Ivor Kobina Greenstreet has promised to improve the living conditions of Ghanaians if elected as President in this year’s elections.
He said it is only CPP government that can deliver the social infrastructure such as quality education, housing and healthcare services that have alluded Ghanaians for the past 54 years when Dr. Nkrumah was violently overthrown in 1966.
He added that the CPP is the only government that provided the economic infrastructure to reduce the cost of living Ghana for all Ghanaians when it was in power adding that the country needs a government that would create a fair, just and equal opportunities for all of the people but not section of Ghanaians.
He said the CPP government would create equal opportunities for all Ghanaians to improve their lot and called on the electorate to vote for CPP in the 2020 December polls to enjoy better wages, improved social services and economic developments.
He said this when he was elected as a flagbearer of the party for the 2020 general elections over the weekend in Koforidua, Eastern Region.
He said the political history of the country in terms of social and infrastructural development of the successive governments showed that no government had much the CPP’s government in improving the lives of Ghanaians.
He, therefore, called on the electorate to end the current duopoly that has characterised the Ghanaian political landscape, which has brought no significant improvement in the lives of people and development in the country and vote CPP to power in the December, 2020 elections.
