President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Monday at separate events commended two foreign envoys whose tour of duty in the country had ended for their roles in deepening relations between Ghana and their respective countries
The outgoing Algerian Ambassador to Ghana, Delileche Youssef and the outgoing Ambassador to Japan, Tsutomu Himeno, called on the President to bid him farewell at the Jubilee House.
President Akufo-Addo said the envoys had made a positive impact during their work in the country and urged more robust collaboration to deepen the relations further.
The President said Ghana valued its friendship with Algeria and Japan, adding that Ghana would be looking forward to more fruitful relations with the two countries.
He praised them for their selfless contributions to the country and urged them to be worthy ambassadors for Ghana in their subsequent engagements.
The two envoys said they were leaving Ghana with very fond memories.
The two outgoing envoys stressed the need for deeper collaboration between their respective countries and Ghana.
