The Minister for Roads and Highways, Mr Francis Asenso-Boakye, has reaffirmed the government’s resolve to improve road network in the Western North Region.
This commitment came after he toured the region last Friday.
“We will take the necessary actions to bring some relief by improving the quality of the roads for the good people of the Western North Region,” the Minister stated.
During the visit, Mr Asenso-Boakye inspected ongoing road projects and assessed critical road conditions in several areas, including Sefwi Wiawso, Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai, and Juaboso.
The tour included stops in Adiembra, Amafie, Kessekrom, Juaboso Nkwanta, and Boinzan.
The Minister noted that the tour provided him with valuable insights into the region’s road situation.
He emphasised that addressing poor road conditions aligns with President Akufo-Addo’s vision for accelerated development in the area, which was a key factor in the creation of the Western North Region.
