The Minister for Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, Mr. Stephen Asamoah Boateng has stated that his Ministry would work together with all religious organizations to promote the country’s development.
He stated that chieftaincy was a very significant institution just like the ministry’s division for religious matters, and despite the fact that the two are distinct organizations, he hoped that they can all work together for the country.

He assured religious bodies that he would not endorse the practice of homosexuality (LGBQT++) as it does not form part of the Ghanaian culture.
He was of the belief that as Ghanaians, it was appropriate to embrace the Ghanaian culture and not to import a lifestyle which was neither part of the Ghanaian culture nor religion.
He urged the Leadership to communicate with all the necessary institutions such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Ministry of the Interior and the Security Agencies to enable them to have a successful seminar.
The President of Eckankar Ghana, Aspect Caiquo, on his part provided details of their upcoming annual global seminar which would be hosted by the Ghana Chapter from the 25th to 27th August, 2023 at the temple in Accra.
