Education Minister inspects projects at Ahafo Region

The Minister for Education, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, has inspected the ongoing construction of Akrodie STEM Senior High School.

The project, which is one of the many STEM Model schools the government is building, will be completed very soon.

The school will have an administrative block, a V block with 24 classrooms, an assembly hall, a dining hall with a kitchen, a Principal’s residence, Vice Principal’s residence and a Staff flat.

Dr Adutwum, who embarked on a Regional tour to the Ahafo Region to inspect educational projects, paid a courtesy call on the Omanhene of the Goaso Traditional Area and the Omanhene of Akrodie.

He also visited Acherensua Senior High School, Akrodie Technical Institute, Kukuom Agric Senior High School, Ahafoman Senior High Technical School, Fawohoyeden Youth Leadership and Training Institute and Serwaa Kesse Senior High School.

He encouraged the student not to allow their backgrounds to hinder their beautiful tomorrow.
