Explore Further Cooperation and Investment of Mutual Benefit Between Ghana and Italy- Foreign Minister

The Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Madam Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey has emphasized the importance of exploring further cooperation in the area of agriculture, security, trade and investment for the mutual benefit between Ghana and Rome, Italy.

She made this declaration during a bilateral meeting with the Italian Foreign Minister, Antonio Tajani, on Tuesday in Rome, Italy.

She used the opportunity to highlight the President’s vision of an industrialized country and called on the Italian Minister to encourage businesses to explore investment opportunities in Ghana since both countries have enjoyed longstanding bonds of friendship and cooperation.

The Italian Foreign Minister, Antonio Tajani reiterated the need for more partnership between the two countries and expressed the country’s interest to engage in areas of trade, agriculture, energy as well as addressing issues of immigration and terrorism.
