The Ghana Business Regulatory Reforms (BRR) portal will be fully completed by 2025 to promote businesses in Ghana.
The portal will offer an efficient and effective accreditation system for conformity assessment bodies, support Ghanaian businesses competing in the global market and promote accreditation to support public policy objectives in terms of health safety and the environment.
The Chief Executive Officer of BRR, Mr Kwaku Nsiah Mensuoh, disclosed this on Wednesday when the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs took its turn on the use of the online portal and registry of Business Legislations.
According to him, the Ministry is working with government agencies such as the Ghana Immigration Service, Ghana National Fire Service, Ghana Statistical Service, Local Government Service and the various Ministries, among others to synchronize the system for national accelerated development.
He urged Ghanaians to participate or log onto the platform to share their experiences and feedback.
The Ministry of Trade and Industry (MOTI) designed the BRR programme as part of the government’s agenda for industrial transformation.
