Lady Precious, an 11-year-old student of Believers School in Accra, has been crowned 2021 Miss Kidi Ghana.

The grand final of the first beauty pageant for kids under 12 was held on Saturday with a beautiful display of Ghanaian fashion, arts, and culture.

Lady Precious, who was exceptional during the seven-week pageantry, was the top performer on the night as she thrilled audiences with her talent.

Afua Etruwa Aduonum, an eight-year student of Ascot School, was adjudged the 1st Runner-up, Amberlyn, a six-year of British Columbia College, emerged 2nd runner-up. In contrast, Kaitlin, a student Child of Light School, was named the 3rd Runner up.

Madam Afua Asantewaa, Executive Director of ASKOF Production, organisers of the pageant, in her speech at the glamorous final held at GNAT Hall up in Accra, was elated to make history with the first pageantry for kids in Ghana.

According to Madam Asantewaa, the pageantry was faced with a bit of a hitch at the start, but they could stand by their principles to bring out the best from the little kids.

She congratulated all winners of the maiden edition of the pageantry, saying that the platform represents the first step of becoming future top models who would raise high the flag of Ghana on the international stage.

This year’s pageant sponsored McBerry Biscuits saw winners awarded with scholarship prizes and goodies, with Lady Precious set to represent Ghana at international pageantry for kids later in the year.
