The National Under-20 Team, the Black Satellites of Ghana have set a date with Uganda in the finals of the 2021 Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations in Mauritania.
The Satellites defeated old foes The Gambia by a lone goal courtesy Precious Baah in the semi-final game last Monday, whilst Uganda recorded a 4-1 victory over Tunisia to book a final slot.
The two sides would meet on Saturday, March 6, at the Stade Olympique de Nouakchott in Mauritania to decide the winner of the competition.
This would be Ghana’s sixth appearance at the final of the U-20 AFCON while Uganda is making a debut in the finals of the competition.
Ghana had won the competition on three occasions, 1993, 1999, and 2009 and a win on Saturday will take Ghana to four U-20 AFCON trophies.
