Kurt Okraku joins GFA presidential race

Dreams FC bankroller, Mr. Kurt Okraku has put himself forward to occupy the leadership of the Ghana Football Association. In a Facebook post, he disclosed that, he will officially contest when the process officially opens.

He also stated that, he arrived at the decision after consultations with key stakeholders.
He also mentioned that, after thorough consultation with the key stakeholders, it became evident that the qualities needed to run Ghana football are what he possesses.

He made it known that, his ultimate aim is that, all key stakeholders get their fair share of the enormous global wealth in association football. This he said will aid investors who have invested in association football recoup their investments for their unending efforts.

Also, he said he will in the not too distant future unveil his blueprint on his vision for Ghana football. He further stated that, he will embark on a quest to build an association that is transparent and led by a communication friendly leadership. This he said requires the skill set and corporate governance mindset to create a new image for the passion that holds the nation together. He said, ” It is time to make Ghana football great again and entrust football into competent and efficient hands”.

Under the Chairmanship of Mr. Kurt Okraku, he has turned Dreams FC into a dreaded side laced with professionalism and competing on all fronts. The team has produced great talents who are currently playing their trades locally and in Europe.

The GFA seat became vacant after former GFA President, Mr Kwesi Nyantakyi resigned due to his alleged involvement in football corruption exposed by ace journalist, Anas Aremyaw Anas.
