Travel and tour giants, Lorient Kal Ghana Limited, has been appointed as the Sales Agent in Ghana for the Official Hospitality Programme of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The appointment, authorised by MATCH Hospitality AG, the worldwide exclusive rights holder of the FIFA Hospitality Programme, gives Lorient Kal Ghana the sole right to sell ticket-inclusive hospitality packages to organisations and individuals for the FIFA World Cup slated for November 21 to December 18.

The Executive Chairman of MATCH Hospitality, Jaime Byrom, in a letter to Lorient Kal Limited, expressed his outfit’s happiness about the deal.

“We are very pleased to announce the appointment of Lorient Kal Limited as an Exclusive Sales Agent in their home country Ghana. Lorient Kal Limited allows MATCH Hospitality to reach out to this exciting market, where interest for the 2022 FIFA World Cup is peaking after the Black Stars qualified in style for Qatar,” he stated.

Best packages

In his response, the Managing Director of Lorient Kal Ghana, Marlon Edgar Anthony Fournillier, promised to offer the best services to Ghanaians and organisations in the country.

“Lorient Kal Ghana is in the best position to satisfy the ticket-inclusive hospitality package needs of corporate executives and football fans in Ghana who want to see our team competing in Qatar and enjoy live in the stadiums the unique atmosphere of a FIFA World Cup.

“What is more, it is essential for the public to be mindful of the difference between ticket-inclusive hospitality packages, which are being sold by Lorient Kal, and ordinary flight and accommodation packages to Qatar, which do not in anyway serve as a guarantee to attend any of the FIFA World Cup matches in the stadiums,” he explained.

The FIFA Hospitality Programme offers clients premium tickets bundled together with a wide range of services such as facilities at the stadiums which include private suites and lounges and marquee tents, gourmet catering, preferential parking, entertainment and gifts.

Lorient Kal Travel and Tours Limited was the exclusive FIFA Match Hospitality in Ghana for Brazil 2014 and Russia 2018 World Cups and remains the only licensed company in Ghana to sell FIFA Match Hospitality tickets for Qatar 2022.
