Richmond Boakye Yiadom, one of the forwards of the Black Stars, has appealed to Ghanaians to rally behind the team as they face Panthers of Gabon in their second match of the 2021 African Cup of Nations (AFCON)
He said the support from the fans would motivate the players to give out their best for the nation.
“All we ask from Ghanaians is to give us support to achieve something for the nation,” he added.
Mr Yiadom was speaking to the media at team’s press conference in Yahonde, Cameroon ahead of their clash against Gabon today at 7:00PM.
On his part, Milovan Rajevac, the Manager of the Black Stars said he was positive his side would defeat Panthers of Gabon today because the team has been fully prepared for the encounter.
Ghana lost to Morocco by a lone goal on Monday 10 January 2022 in her first match at the tournament.
