Wilson Agbesi lands top Minifootball position

Mr. Wilson Agbesi, the Secretary-General of the Ghana Wheelchair Basketball Federation (GWBF), has landed an Executive Board Member post at the Minifootball Association of Ghana (MAG).

Mr. Agbesi, who doubles as the President of the Ghana wheelchair Minigolf Association (GAWMA), would serve on the board for five years and a maximum of three terms.

The President of MAG, Mr. Andrews Ako Nai, congratulated Mr. Agbesi on his appointment and wished him the very best and hoped his appointment would bring the needed change to the association.

Agbesi in an interview after confirming the appointment and said, “yes I have received the official appointment letter to serve on the board of MAG and I must say I am humbled and as well thank the Almighty God for making it possible and granting me this great opportunity to once again contribute my quota to the development of Ghana Sports.

“I would also want to thank the leadership of MAG for the trust and confidence they have in me and want to assure them of my total commitment, dedication, trust, honest, determination and hard work as much as the task given to me is a concern, I would focus on the task and getting positive results would be my priority.”
