The Ministry of Youth and Sports (MoYS) has sent a get-well message to the injured players who were attacked by armed robbers on their way back home after they participated in the International African Wheelchair Tennis Championship in Nigeria.

A press statement issued by the MoYS said three players were injured leaving the entire team terrified throughout their journey.

It said the Ministry is committed to ensuring their safety and condemn the attacks in no uncertain terms.

“We are happy about their safe arrival in Ghana after the attacks and assure them of our support,” it stated.
