Seminars and roundtable discussions will be held during the visit with the Ghana Police Service, Ghana Immigration Service, National Disaster Management Organisation, Ghana National Fire Service and the private sector, among others.

Mr Dery assured the Ambassador that the necessary arrangements would be made to meet the companies for partnership and technology transfer to help improve the existing security systems.

The Minister commended Israel for advancing in technology and called on the Western World to support less technological advanced countries with new technologies.

Mr Dery, who touched on issues of refugees, stated that Ghana is committed to hosting refugees when the need arises but would do so in an acceptable manner that would not compromise the peace and security of Ghana.
