KA Technologies has announced the completion of the nationwide supply, training and subsequent distribution of laptops to qualified teachers and non-teaching staff under the Ghana Education Service (GES).
The initiative, which falls under the Government’s “One Teacher One Laptop” programme, is to equip beneficiaries with the resources to meet the requirements of education in the digital age.
A press statement issued by the Corporate Communications Department of KA Technologies stated that the organisation has established aftercare centres across the country to provide technical assistance to beneficiaries.
It added that KA Technologies has designed an application to enable beneficiaries to repair and purchase accessories with ease.
“We have communicated and published our 24/7 aftercare Centers dotted across the country providing continuous customer and technical assistance to our cherished Teachers.
“Our user-friendly katcare App allows the booking of repair services and the purchase of Laptop accessories. Teachers may also call toll-free line 0800790555 to report any complaints or enquiries,” it emphasised.
The organisation expressed gratitude to the Government, Ministry of Education, Ghana Education Service and regulatory institutions for the partnership to deliver digital-aided tools in teaching in Ghana.
