AIB Ghana signs MoU with BTEA Togo

Ghana Aircraft Accident and Incident Investigation and Prevention Bureau (AIB) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Togolese Bureau of Aviation Accident Investigation (BTEA) on cooperation in the field of Civil Aircraft Accident and Incident Investigation.

The signing of the MoU between the two countries reaffirms the progressive partnership with new modalities of cooperation in the discipline of Civil Accident and Incident Investigation and Prevention.

Under the new modalities, the two countries would stretch their cooperation to include the exchange of expertise, personnel training, information and knowledge sharing.

Ghana’s Commissioner of Aircraft Accident and Incident Investigation and Prevention Bureau, Mr Akwesi Agyeibi Prempeh, who led a five-member delegation to Togo-Lomé, were received by the Secretary-General for the Ministry for Rail, Air and Road, Mr Konilan Tindano and Director of the Togolese Bureau of Aviation Accident Investigation (BTEA), Colonel Buraima Bonfoh and Mr Atcha Dedfa Affoh, on behalf of the Rail, Air and Road Minister.
