The government of Ghana has expressed its deepest condolences to the governments of Türkiye and the Syrian Arab Republic on the devastating earthquake and its aftershocks that occurred on 6th February 2023.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday.
It stated, “The Republic of Ghana stands in solidarity with the people of Türkiye and Syria and extends our deepest and most heartfelt sympathy to the families of the victims and wishes a speedy recovery to the injured.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected, and we pray that they find resilience and courage to come out of this devastating situation even stronger,” it added.
